Add a second step at sign-in for stronger protection.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) asks for a second proof of identity — usually a one-time code — so a password alone isn't enough to sign in.
- Open security settings — From your account, go to Security.
- Enable MFA — Follow the prompts to set up your second factor.
- Save backup options — Keep any backup codes somewhere safe.
Note: Using SSO through a school or district? MFA may be managed by your organization's identity provider.
