AIVO Focus add-on
An optional per-learner add-on for distraction-free AIVO learning — what it does, what it costs, and how it works on each device.
AIVO Focus ($9.99/learner/month) is an optional add-on for distraction-free AIVO learning. During a Focus session, your learner's AIVO lesson, homework, or quiz stays front and center on their device. It is an independent per-learner subscription: it works alongside AIVO Free, AIVO Pro, and AIVO Premium, and it never changes learning content — no tutors, subjects, or minutes are added or removed. It is not a general parental-control app.

What Focus protects — honestly
Protection depends on the device, and AIVO always tells you which level a device really has:
- AIVO Pad and school-managed Android devices can fully lock to AIVO during a session — the strongest level.
- Standard Android devices pin the AIVO app — a strong helper, not a full lock: your child can exit with the device's own unlock.
- iPhone and iPad shield the apps you choose using Apple's Screen Time tools; the apps you pick stay private on the device (AIVO only sees counts, never app names).
- Everywhere else, Focus Guard protects the AIVO app itself — other apps on the device stay open.
Devices and the AIVO Pad
One Focus subscription covers the learner's linked personal devices. The AIVO Pad includes Focus on the Pad at no extra charge — a subscription is only needed for the learner's other devices.
Billing and cancellation
- Focus is priced per learner ($9.99/learner/month) — each learner's Focus is their own subscription, just like base plans.
- There is no free trial — Focus starts right away.
- Cancel anytime from Billing — cancelling Focus keeps access until the end of the paid period and never changes the learner's base plan; cancelling the base plan doesn't cancel Focus either.
- Bought it on the App Store or Google Play? Manage and cancel it there, according to that store's rules (store prices are localized and may vary by region).
- Schools and districts can include Focus by contract under Enterprise — sponsored families don't purchase it. See Enterprise sponsorship.
