How consent works for families and for school/district accounts.

Consent determines how a learner's data is used and who can access it. Who provides consent depends on the account type.
- Family accounts — the parent or guardian provides and manages consent.
- School/district accounts — the school may provide consent for educational use under applicable law (e.g., FERPA's school-official context), within your agreement.
