Adding a learner
Add a child to your account and choose their learning context so AIVO can personalize.

A learner is the child who uses AIVO. You can add several learners to one parent account, each with their own profile, Virtual Brain, and progress.
Add a learner
- Open your dashboard — From the parent dashboard, select Add learner.
- Enter basic details — Add the learner's first name and grade/age. AIVO uses age and grade only to set a starting point — lessons adapt from there.
- Choose a learning context — Pick school, homeschool, or hybrid — see Choosing school, homeschool, or hybrid.
- Continue to the assessment — Complete the short parent assessment so the first lessons fit your learner.
Privacy: Only add information you're comfortable sharing. You control who on your care team can see each learner, and you can export or delete a learner's data at any time.
Tip: Adding more than one child? You can switch between learners from the dashboard at any time — see Managing multiple learners.
